As I had written in the last post I wrote, my family and I had gone on a week long vacation. In this post, I will tell you about the first part of my trip!
We went to Amelia Island, and drove to Fort Clinch. We weren’t able to see everything, but we got to see most of it. We saw the cannons, we were able to go on top of the fort, we saw the prisons, and we went down to the beach. There’s also a campground next Fort Clinch. There was no tour guide (or if there was we didn’t see one), but we still saw most of the stuff there. We saw everything we could, and set out to find a hotel. We sat in the parking lot and made reservations for a hotel room in Jacksonville. We stayed the Hyatt Place, and I loved it. We had a view of the lake, and the room was nice and cozy. We settled down and watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy until 4 a.m.. The last movie was 4 hours long! It was good though. I enjoyed the first of my adventure!
